Who we are:

Seaside Therapy is a multi-disciplinary organization specializing in Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Early Intervention services. We work in connection with most major insurance companies, Tri-Counties Regional Center, and multiple local school districts.

It is our mission to deliver high quality & client-centered services to help the members of our community reach their full potential.

Our Services

  • Speech Therapy is aimed at improving a person’s communication both verbally and non-verbally, based on their age, needs, and ability. Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, fluency, voice, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults. Treatment emphasis is on interactive communication within the client’s environment. Our speech therapists work with the clients and their families/caregivers to eliminate or modify factors that are hindering them from successfully communicating with others.

  • Occupational therapy is aimed at improving a child’s development and ability to function effectively and independently within the family, community, and school with the use of motivating and goal-directed gross and fine motor activities and play. Occupational therapists (OTs) work with children, youth, and their families, caregivers, and teachers to promote active participation in activities that are meaningful to them. By looking at the whole picture—a client’s psychological, physical, emotional, and social make-up—occupational therapy assists others to achieve their goals, function at the highest possible level, maintain and improve independence, and participate in the everyday activities of life. (American Occupational Therapy Association, 2014).

  • Physical therapists (PTs) work with children and their families to assist each child in reaching their maximum potential to function independently and to promote active participation in home, school, and community environments. Physical therapists have expertise in movement, motor development, and body function (e.g., strength and endurance). They apply clinical reasoning during examination, evaluation, diagnosis, and intervention for children, youth, and young adults. Our physical therapists implement Individualized therapeutic exercises through play promoting overall health, wellness, and fitness. (APTA, 2019)

  • Early interventionists provide important services to babies and toddlers aged birth - 3 with developmental delays or disabilities in areas such as cognition, communication, social skills and physical development. They assist children and their families to help them learn specific skills and behaviors in the fundamental areas of learning.

  • The answer to this is unique to each person. We will have a better idea once we have given a full evaluation.

  • Parents are always welcome to attend therapy sessions.
